Nice stop at the grocery store

Sat, I stopped at the grocery store to grab a quick bite. When I drive into a busy parking lot, I usually set my exhaust to the loud option (stock Porsche sport exhaust) so SUVs and cell phone using pedestrians hear me coming. I followed a newish (991, I think) 911 S Cab into the parking lot in my Boxster S.

While cruising through the parking lot I saw a guy getting into a black very late model Turbo S. He looked up and noticed my drive past. As I drove down the next aisle and past where the turbo S was he said something that I didn't catch. As I parked, he drove around and out of his way to drive past and tell me how good my car sounded.

I felt pretty good, that me with the least expensive Porsche in the lot got a compliment from the most expensive car in the lot.

When I came out to leave, this was parked in the lot.

That probably sounds a little better than the boxster. You better be glad the turbo guy heard your car first!

Thanks for sharing!

Whole foods right next to the AIG building right? This was parked while I was having brunch at revival on Saturday.

Absolutely, seems like there's almost always something there. 10:1, I saw the same car you posted. We took the dogs to the dog park on Allen on Sun, and coming back, I saw that car on Allen.

I'd say I see a Lamborghini or Mclaren at least once a week every week.

It probably was the same car. I went to Lee's fried chicken across the street on Sunday, and he was there also. Looks like this young guy and I have very similar brunch tastes.
