Would this anger you ?
Our local club rents this parking lot for auto crosses. Have been doing so for 30 years .
Yesterday was the opener, but was called due to snow ,. However .... A few guys from the cars and coffee scene were there at the lot later in the day burning em off. This was pasted on their facebook page yesterday . Id hate to see the wrong group of guys get a bad name for something they did not do The autocrossers are a good bunch ( for the most part) , stuff like this is totally prohibited, and will get you thrown from the fun park for good after your first warning. The lot is in a public park. I know this guy, he is o.k enough, but likes to goof off .http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1459789802.jpg |
It's been my experience that a whole lot of sports car owners are arseholes....so this wouldn't surprise me.
YMMV.... |
I wouldn't get angry about hijinks like that but I'd be pretty disappointed and if I were the property owner I'd be a little upset.
Even good guys can make mistakes. They guy should be taken aside quietly by the organizers and have the facts of life explained to him and how he doesn't want to be known as the guy who spoils it for everyone. |

Called for snow? I know Vipers are supposed to be massively powerful cars, but if this guy managed to clear the lot (and the grass, and the street) like that for you, I'd be hiring him. ;)

Tiny penis.

We had 1.5 inches of ice and snow at 7 am on Sunday, it was cold and dreary . By 2, the sun was out, melted off the snow and it was a beautiful day. Just another April In Pittsburgh

Probably needs a talking to, given that your group was the ones that were supposed to be out there. Maybe let the powers that be know you cancelled your event and these guys have nothing to do with you.

Maybe just include the parks department, or your contact in it, in the email notifications when you have to cancel. |
Problem is the "public" piece.
If it was on private property, I'd personally see nothing wrong. You're just an idiot doing burnouts in a public place. |
Yes, driver(s) was/were d-bags for doing it. Make me angry? No... no real destruction of property, etc.
By contrast, I read on a spoon forum about a new member to a private range that hosed the place down with a machine gun (no idea if it was properly taxed or not) and in the process destroyed a $4000 reactive target system. If I were a member of that range, I'd be livid... Heck, I get po'd at folks that purposely shoot target stands at a public uncontrolled range... |
It angers me.
I wish I had a Viper. And I wish I could afford to burn the tires off it. |
Maybe I'm getting old, but there's a time and place. i.e. don't **** where you eat...
