Growing up I didn't have an appreciation for how talented Dolly is. Strangely enough, I discovered her through the White Stripes. My mind-bending, genre-crossing contribution to this thread is a different Dolly song, this one an original to her:

Jack White fell in love with Dolly's work and (to her pleasant surprise) he recorded some of her songs and they collaborated on others.

By the way, Jolene was a real person. She was a teller at Dolly's bank. She realized that her husband created every excuse to go to the bank just so he could see teller Jolene.

I can watch both videos repeatedly.

My Daughter was in the H.S. Play last weekend, and it was 9 to 5. She wrote all the songs for that movie. Great Show. Rock&Roll Dolly!!
Mailed that one to my favorite DJ!! My daughter Loved it. She' s a great talent and her dedication to music has always been her NO.1 Priority.
