{cue grumpy old man mode}

I was into Star Wars before Star Wars was cool!

I actually have the original Star Wars box DVD set...

The whole 'prequel' thing pretty much sucked to me (they had their moments but the last one was painful to watch...) therefor it is pretty difficult for me to get excited about any additional Star Wars movies.

Besides I saving my money for the next Harry Potter movie

Now... remove thyself from my drought resistant garden area!

{exit grumpy old man mode}

Carry on!

sorry, but if you didn't have the lunch box or the 4" action figures, you can't claim grumpy old man mode status, leave that to those of us who were there when it hit theaters

This movie, coming out at Christmas time of this year will absolutely devastate at the theatres. I assume in the 1st month, it will surpass any movie ever made for box office returns, and you talk about retro Christmas presents for the kids ? WOW

Can't wait to be in line !

Luke's hand was covered in synthetic skin in "Emipre Strikes Back". So that can't be him with the metalic hand?

Great but I do fear some things should be left alone.

Whatever the reviews I'll be seeing it. It will be huge.

I graduated high school in 1977. My daughter who is now 21 texted me 10 minutes after this came out. We have a family day planned for the opening date in December..........

There I was. Stupid teenager sitting in the theaters wating for the movie to start.
Little do I know how much influence this movie would have. It changed everything.
And I believe our world would not be as advanced today without it.
