leather care for old motorbike jacket

I have a second hand biker/Brando jacket that I really like, but the leather is VERY dry. I've put some cheap supermarket quality products on it but it goes back to being dry again in a week.

What's something that can go on it without making it so oily that dust will stick to it, but still nourishing the leather?

Try Obenaufs leather care products. Works very good on my 911 seats. I tried Leatherique, but Obenauf's is better. Check out their web site and then you can get it on Amazon.

Cleaning with saddle soap and oiling with mink oil will fix any leather. It's so simple it's hard to believe it will be effective, but you will believe it when you see it.

Mink oil is excellent but harder to come by these days. Neatsfoot oil works as well.

Obenauf oil softened some cardboard 911 seats nicely.

Go to a saddle shop ...leathernew makes some great products...oils and other applicants.
I've used it on very expensive custom saddles for years. It will not rot sewing/stitching either.

Thanks for the help guys! Duh, after your assistance in finding a good product I remembered I had a bee's wax and oils product on the shelf somewhere from many years back. So I put this stuff on and it looks great and doesn't feel like it's going to crack.

Great stuff! Worked wonders on the 911's seats and dash.

The only problem is, the wife keeps stealing it for our leather sofas and chair. Now there's not any left for my m/c jacket.
