With 3400 lbs of thrust, it's a good thing that comes mounted on a 4-wheel trailer with eletric brakes! Phew!

That's pretty cool. Though wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a tanker watering truck... fill it with kerosene, lay a swath of fuel down the track and then light it on fire?

Was obsolete before it was even in service. Navy Banshee used 2 of them. Neptune (with 2 radial piston engines) used 2 of them for 'helper' engines. Don't know of any others offhand. |
