Yep, Park Place. Loaded with car salesmen who think being "rich" means you will pay outrageous money for anything they have, because you're "rich" and this is "Bellevue"

I honestly don't know how they stay in business. Been like that as long as I can remember.

PS for those who don't know, Bellevue is the Nouveau Riche capital of the PNW- obvious consumption is mandatory. It's located within the shadow of Microsoft.

Glad I read the ebay listing, now I know its blue, but not much else

Isn't the eBay fee calculated by the asking price? Do you only pay if it sells?

onewhippedpuppy 05-05-2016 05:21 AM

Love the car, but the price is total crack pipe and the ad reeks of smarmy car salesman. Damn shame that nobody enjoyed that car, I'd rather have one with 100k to drive.

i love quirky, weird colors and combos...but that thing is just god awful to me.

Right. It's tasteless/flashy at it's ugliest.

No and yes. It is $50 to list the car and if it sells the final value fee is calculated on the sale price. That is why some ask outrageous buy it now prices hoping someone will make an offer outside of the ebay site and they will not have to pay the fees. So basically they use ebay as a for sale ad not a sales site.

Blue interiors are the worst. 993s are plagued by them. I wonder if they EVER will look cool again?

I am so glad I have a tan interior. I could not spend even sane 993 money on a car with a blue dash, carpet and steering wheel.

A blue interior for any car is awful, whether you're talking 911 or Camry. I don't Know who buys those.

And what animal has a blue hide - it's just not natural. Yes, red is a stretch but I can fathom a red interior (even though I hate red interiors as well).

I could live with the blue on blue with some silver wheels... ;)

impactbumper 05-05-2016 12:23 PM

they had that thing and the stupid price tag for a long time.

Well, it's appreciating. In about 8 years, at current rates, it will catch up to their asking price. :)

I actually really liked the Metropol Blue interior in my 996TT, but it was very nearly black.

Loved the navy blue interior in my GP White 930 and also loved it in the silver Audi A6 that I had. Certainly does not work with every exterior color...

Earlier this year a friend's uncle sold his Turbo S for just under $500K at one of the auctions.
