A bad day fishing....
What's that? ....when I was much younger, I did go "casting" a LOT though  Now I fish just about every time I visit my ponds out in the "country"....just caught one nice bass yesterday, but it was cool watching a 4-5 pounder on her spawning bed just a couple of feet away

A good day fishing beats everything else. My best day of fishing was in northern Minnesota, we were tucked in a cove, I had a white skirt spinner bait. Cast after cast into one area, a medium sized northern (pike) would jump out of the water to grab the lure before it hit the water. 25 years ago, remember it clear as day today.
Same day different part of the lake, my mom hooked a muskie that was the size of an alligator. The funniest thing was how scared we all were when it came out of the depths and surfaced next to the boat. We cut the line.

Hit the pond again during lunch today, got 4, all about the same size as the one in the pic, just shy of a pound. Great fun on ultra light tackle
