Another nice find
My friend keeps finding these nice pony cars. He's got a talent for it, http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1462636988.jpg
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1462637011.jpghttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1462637073.jpg I for one, never liked these vinyl roofs, but that's how it came so I guess it stays. |
Nice!
Vinyl roofs was a fad that faded fast. When I was in college i spent a short stint working for a Fiat dealer. One of my jobs was putting vinyl on the roofs of Fiats. Nothing stupider than a Fiat 124 with a vinyl roof. |
Man I love those I fulfilled all my boyhood fantasies in a 1969 Z 28. If I ever get back into muscle cars, that would be the one . Love the green , mine was forest green with stripes
|
Vinyl covered hard tops- the ugliness of an convertible without any of the benefits!
Nice find though. |

Very nice '69! I'd love to have an early camaro, anything from 67 - 70 1/2.
|
BTW this is a numbers car with a 327/ automatic. I had one just like this only a few years ago. Mine was red and white and NO vinyl roof. I will try to find a photo or two.

Here ya go!
Nice and fuzzy, just the way you guys like 'em. But you get the picture. When I bought this car it had LOW gears, at least 411's. Couldn't get rid of them fast enough
them installed I think 293's or there abouts. Nice HWY driver then.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1462664609.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1462664627.jpg Sorry, (hard on the eyes.) |
Mine was a '67 convertible. Marina blue, white cowl stripe, white top.
Fun times....... |
my friend has a very nice 68 camaro for sale 396, 4 speed, bench seat, numbers matching very rare car with this combo.
|
I did not even know you could get a bench seat in an early Camaro. I always liked the early ones, like the '68 best
