Baz, it's about some plants
We have four fairly big Rosemary plants in the yard. Two different kinds.
I think a person could take cutting from them for dinner prep. ![]() ![]() ![]() yet my wife buys this ![]() and, what's this, I've been eating them for 40 days now and haven't got sick once, actually taste pretty good. ![]() |

We have a rosemary plant that we routinely use to season lamb chops. Easy peasy, just take some cuttings, chop them up finely, and spread around on the meat. Really tasty!

The rosemary is great for marinade..
strip the leaves off, chop into small bits, mix with olive oil, garlic, citrus, salt and pepper, let stand with meat or chicken for a day or two... grill. The second looks like some sort of fig.. but the flower is throwing me off. I work in a commercial nursery here, I will look it up tomorrow.

When I do a leg of lamb I'll smear the outside with Grey Poupon mustard and some loose fresh rosemary leaves, then spear small rosemary stems thru the meat as well.

Here are 2 easy recipes that use up the rosemary. The Italian Tray Bake is a quick weeknight meal that even little kids love....

The fruit looks somewhat like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boysenberry, except they are not smaller and round, and not a tree.
Maybe a hybrid? |

The second plant kind of looks like a mulberry - see http://www.bonitaspringstropicalfruitclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/mulberries2.jpg

Hey Dean...I think you already got your answer on the Rosemary.
That second plant - reminds me of a Acalypha hispida aka Chenille Plant but not quite sure the foliage matches up. It may be another species of Acalypha. What do the flowers look like? Anything like this: ![]()

I think Amail nailed it with the Mulberry pictures. Pretty close. I am not sure I have seen that plant before and am glad I can eat it, the Rosemary part was just harassing my wife for buying that stuff at the store when we have four VW sized plants in the yard.
