Lets see your handwriting .

I got my yearly audit from the Pennsylvania State Inspection guy today . I did good, I had one work order misplaced, and I found that for him right quick.
I asked him if there is anything I need to know, or should be doing different for next year , and he told me that I could work on my handwriting.
I wanted to pimp slap that mo fo . J.K. He is actually a pretty good guy
Its not that bad is it ?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1463011521.jpg

It would appear that I have ventured to the other side of the tracks, sorry , how to move this thread ?

Ziggythecat 05-11-2016 04:22 PM

Except for your M, looks good to me.
Of course, I have trouble reading my own handwriting...

Good luck getting away from the not so funny farm of PARF.

Yo Fred, I just sent a message to get your thread re-located to PPOT.

Your handwriting is really great - especially when compared to mine!

The problem is when your inspector made that comment - he couldn't use green font. :)

Carry on sir....SmileWavy

I cross my 7's so they aren't mistaken for 1's

URY914 05-11-2016 05:20 PM

Looks like it is Russian.

stealthn 05-11-2016 05:25 PM

That's printing, not writing...

Oh Haha 05-11-2016 05:36 PM

It looks fine to me.
In fact, your use of capital letters is nice.

I used capitals when I filled out paperwork for the DOT when I managed the trucking company. I heard it somewhere that police officers are trained to write their reports using capital letters so they are easier to read.

different hands doing the writing

Yes it is :)

Kind of arty though - I like it.

Check out the W's.

There are two "sets" if you know what I am saying.

Really?

flyenby 05-11-2016 09:11 PM

Looks like Traffic Ticket writing.....maybe he should work on his reading...

aigel 05-11-2016 09:17 PM

I only type these days. More than 50% of what I wrote by hand is probably my signature!

I type a lot nicer and faster than I can write by hand!

if he thinks that is bad... He should see the note pad I keep on my desk! quick scribbles while I'm on the phone. Scary stuff!

Wife never wants me to write down the stuff we need to buy at the grocery store, she can't read a single word in my handwriting - me neither sometimes.

jcommin 05-12-2016 03:20 AM

My script wring is awful. I'm left handed taught by a right handed teacher. I tilt the paper the as a righty would and my wrist is bent. It wasn't until a drafting class in HS where I learned to print. I been out of HS for a almost 50 years and I still print very well, my script writing still sucks but not as much.

masraum 05-12-2016 03:25 AM

My cursive has never been good, so I eventually stopped and went to printing. The printing is legible, but not really that much better. I think I could write really slowly in either and make it better, but why? These days 99% of what I do is on a keyboard, so my penmanship is not important.

I should have been a Doctor.

id10t 05-12-2016 03:51 AM

Severely handicapped in teh handwriting department... learned to type at 9 and was allowed to submit typewritten papers.. no cursive, etc though I can fumble through it.

fastfredracing 05-12-2016 03:59 AM

I was the same way, learned to type at 12 years old. Being a guitar player, it came to me really easy . I typed everything I could, all through high school, and college .
I cannot write cursive at all . Have not even tried in 25 years
I broke my right hand a few years back, and noticed that my writing slipped a little bit after that.
My signature has become a squiggly little line

billybek 05-12-2016 04:05 AM

My son's teacher complains about his handwriting.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree....

I can read the OP's handwriting.
Good enough.

Oh Haha 05-12-2016 04:13 AM

I had a doctor sign a document once with basically a line with a squiggle. I commented jokingly that isn't even close to a signature. He told me "I paid a lot of money to be able to do that". Touche.

I think the people skills of the State inspector(people of this calibre know they can get away with handing out sh-t) were worse than your hand writing. Saying nothing as you did diffuses the situation and you are good to go for another year.

If you had slapped him on the side of his head you would not need to worry about your handwriting anymore. For a while anyway. :)

GH85Carrera 05-12-2016 04:53 AM

I was in the garage and grabbed a small pad of post-its to make some notes to myself. It is pitiful how bad my handwriting is and how bad my hand writes what my brain wants to write. I finally just started over with the notes app on my iPhone. It is slower to type with one finer on an iPhone but at least it was legible.

From what I hear they don't even teach cursive in school anymore. I prefer to type.

tevake 05-12-2016 05:14 AM

Yep, I got called out on my spelling the other day here. Cracked me up too, cause if he had been trying to read my handwriting. It would have been a real reason to give me a hard time. Spell check is a help, as is typing

MBAtarga 05-12-2016 05:41 AM

I can't read my own writing sometimes - unless I take my time to write neatly.
