Because I Truly Care

I put this sign in our window just in case anyone noticed them. dirty.

And this is almost finished, it will stand on a steel post and be hand watered. It's a three space bird bath, one for males, one for females and one for others, I hear that's the new mandate. It's Italian Marble

You do know that "Eye-tal-eon" bath thing is illegal in some states? You need to have one big bath because they all have peckers.

I thought that my car was the bathroom for the local bird population....you can't tell me that they don't have good aim.

Pecker or not - what is on their birth certificate?

I am a little concerned. I hope you will have visible signage so the transgendered birds will know which bath is the correct bath to use? And what about privacy dividers? Think of the trauma of watching other avian's bathe.

We had a series of window strikes a while back - can't remember the species. What I learned is that they sight through the house (in the front windows and out through the back) and think they can fly right through. We pulled the shades to break the line of sight and no more strikes.

Nice birdbath too!!

I believe there is an African Tribe that speaks some kind of bird talk, I may have to get in touch with them for the signs.

We have a large glass basketball goal which is an absolute death trap for birds. I have gone out in the morning and found TWO dead birds on the ground below on multiple occasions. Seems like there ought to be enough "free" sky for them to navigate in, but I guess eventually it's bound to happen.
