How do people do this kind of stuff? Bicycle related
 

May have been posted before. How do people start doing this kind of stuff. Byron? it doesn't seem like he had too many takes along the edge of the roof. crazy. do you think he got up one morning and say, let try riding on the very edge of the roof and do some jumps along the way?

No doubt in my mind whatever that he previewed and planned his route very well. Looks like there is a ramp in there as well. BUT still must give him props for his skills.

MacAskill is a pro, and there was lots of planning and practice involved in this video. He used to do this stuff just for fun and a friend made a video of him and they put it on YouTube. That one blew up and he was able to start doing this for a living. He is, obviously, extremely skilled!

While MacAskill has far more talent than most, and I enjoy the videos, they do not really surprise me.
Had GoPro cameras and youtube been around when I was in my teens a few things me and my friends did could have ended up posted there.

Probably a good thing my parents didn't know what we were doing on our bikes!

Come to think about it, our videos would fit two catagories-

The successful: How does he do that?
The crashes: What kind of moron would even try that?

Curious to a MacAskill blooper reel. I bet there are a few real doozies caught on camera.
