Laptop advise

I've been putting money into my HP and it's still got a problem and I need a 1920 x 1080 laptop for work to get everything on one screen. I think with that kind of resolution, I'll need a big screen. I have a 1600 x 900 now with a 17" screen and it's a good balance of size/resolution, so I guess I should look at 17"+. I suspect I have to run Windows 10 unless I have the disk wiped and reloaded with Windows 7? Looking for a good quality, longer lasting unit. Don't do games. Toshiba?

You can still buy a new computer with Win 7. Search Amazon, Ebay or whatever:

17 inch screen laptop Win 7

If you buy from the "business" side of Dell you can still get Win 7. Also gotta love their next day on site repair warranty

I'm very happy with my Lenovo, W7 and has run flawlessly for 2 years. Cost me $599.

I have a Lenovo for work and an MSI at home. MSI was the less expensive of the two but is a great laptop for the money, under 900 from Newegg. The keyboard on the Lenovo is better.
I would not fight the Windows 10 thing, you are going there like it or not !
like the old saying goes... if you are going to eat a turd, don't chew
