Any comment on Vizio TV's?

Looking for a 32" to 40" TV for the garage for sports and U-tube.
1080p HD and 120 Hz refresh rate would be nice.
They are priced very well for the options they claim to have.

Anyone have any experience with Vizio TV's?

ive had a 65" I bought at Walmart for $750 several years ago. Its given me no issues at all.

I think it is more like the toyota of tvs than the porsche, but good enough for me.

My Toyota is more reliable than my Porsches!

I bought a 55" vizio smart tv about a year and a half ago, seems fine. I can't seem to get the colors quite right but I think it's a personal problem.

I have a 22" Vizio and a 42" Vizio. The 22 is 6 years old and going strong. The 42 is only about 3 and is also excellent. I chose the Vizio in part for price but also because my own side by side comparo against a Samsung (a brand I see as a benchmark), I thought the picture was better. YMMV.

I have had a 50" Vizio for about 10 years. Great TV. Not a single issue or problem.

For a garage tv sure. I'd never buy one for my house though I'm an image quality snob.

This is the one I'm thinking about.

I have two 48 inch Vizio TV's one in the bedroom on the wall and the other is used as a computer monitor. I've had them for a couple years, no issues and got them at Walmart for just over $250 if I remember correctly.

I've had no issues with Visio. However, if you want a 32" Samsung for $100.... (after Dell gift card)

We bought a 70" non-4k "smart" tv in November of 2015. It's on its 3rd remote. They just keep dying after about 24 hours of use. After the 2nd one went back I bought a universal remote and only used the 3rd Vizio one to program it.

I don't think we'll buy another Vizio TV.

Was bed ridden for almost a year and had a local TV shop get me "the best" 65in TV. They brought in a Sony Bravia smart TV. It was fairly expensive, but they did bring it in and set everything up to work with my other video sources and output to my stereo for surround sound. And they programmed everything to work with my Cable TV remote. The smart TV part provided additional content sources other than Cable and Apple TV and let me stream content from my iPad and iPhone. Them setting everything up for me and the extra content sources made it well worth the price for my situation.

That was 4 years ago and I've had zero problems. People that visit still tell me it is one of the best and clearest pictures they've seen.

Bought a 65 inch 4K Vizio about 6 months ago. It's been reliable and the pic is great. Vizio is comparable to Kia..they have found a way to do the same or better than the other makes for less price.

Ditto except 46"

I have a really old plasma Vizio that I want to say is around 72" or so. It's still going strong. I wouldn't mind replacing that one with a 1080p but it won't die. And I find myself watching it more than the smaller one with a better picture.

1990C4S 06-28-2016 02:38 PM

Okay, I have that same TV now.

Good picture, super-easy to configure, I get 19 OTA channels (my old RCA picked up about 12)

Really easy to play video from a USB.

I am really happy with mine (after two hours....).

They all come out of the same bucket. Just a matter of whose name is glued to the bezel. A pure commodity. Buy whichever name you want to look at as the rest of the product is essentially identical.
