I can't even tell you how many places I've been in the past few years that have been bombed. Still, odds are pretty low of being involved in an attack, so it won't slow us down.

Ataturk is a very secure airport. In all Turkish airports, you go through a security check when you enter the building. And then another to get to the gates. I was there - but inside the terminal on transfer - 4 weeks ago for 5 hours.

If only they had established the airport as a bomb-free zone.  Or at least had some sort of bomb registration program.

Terrible
A hotel across from the hotel I was staying at in Instanbul got bombed while I was there. A double decker bus in London got bombed two blocks from a hotel I was staying in as well a few years later.
