Sting and Peter Gabriel
Wow, caught the show last night at the SAP in San Jose! The wife and I hadn't seen either of them since the Amnesty International tour.
It was an amazing experience, and both these guys are still delivering the goods. The young guy on the violin just shredded it. Their back up singers were amazing. The original Gabriel/Kate Bush duet came out beautifully. If you can get tickets, DO IT! If you're already going, hold onto your hats! Peter had me in tears at one point with one of his dedications. Anybody going to the LA performance? If so, I need a favor. The wife decided she wants a second shirt in a design she didn't initially like but, after seeing mine has now decided she wants one. I'll cover the shipping of course and a small finders fee. Pm me please. The show was my gift to her for her fiftieth and I'd like to put the icing on that cake. |
Look online for the shirt?

Thanks for posting. We're going next week.

either nock offs or non concert available licensed designs. I haven't seen the designs they had at the concert on line. At least not yet. |
If they get within a 3 Wood of DC, I am in.

Thanks for the offer Paul but, looks like the tour is winding down to two shows in LA coming up, one in Seattle and a couple up in the Great White Canadia.
This is the shirt I am looking for a little help in purchasing..SmileWavy http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1468638874.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1468638929.jpg |
At this point I'd also cover the customs for shipping from the North, eh!

I am on the east coast, but a friend of mine was there and has been posting a bunch of pics. Evidently some chic one row in front of him was pretty hot!!! :D
Looks like a good show! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1468717172.jpg |
Gabriel did some next level stuff back in the day. Soulful for sure. Stings moment was much earlier but equally poignant.

Saw them on Saturday night and they were incredible. Even our local, usually cranky, concert critic gave them a glowing report.
What we also liked was that there was no opening band. I don't know how difficult Sting is to work with, but it's apparent that these two guys really like each other. |
Saw Sting with Police back in the Syncronicity album days. Something tells me that the openers were the Go Gos and Loverboy. Whew. I was pretty much out of it though.
Would love to see Peter G. |
