friend of mine was paying $$..
then she wanted even more as he landed a great gig..
during the proceedings it was noted he had paid way to much for many years..
and that she was aware of same..
he got 'credit' as she couldn't pay it back..
he's done..or good till the kid is 24..

Independent of what your ex-wife may be like (she doesn't come off well in that post, but who knows what she is really like - we sure don't), making that post and then sharing it here and effectively inviting the entire internet to mail your ex-wife, is the mother of all bad ideas. Further, it does not reflect very well on you, and you might want to think about your own motivations and judgment.

Nothing goes away on the internet, and everything can be used in court...

We didn't have FB back when I got divorced and I may have made a similar one but luckily the older version of me knows it's not a good idea.

Don't let her stupid rub off on you JB. I could tell some shiznit about my ex that would make you want to pull your hair out. I never said anything derogatory about her to the kids, despite all the crap she has spewed to them about me. I figured it would eventually work out, and it seems to be. The son and daughter in law can't stand her, and the daughter and son are figuring out how full of crap she has been her whole life. I used to be angry at her. Now, I almost feel sorry for her. Not enough speak to her, or to piss on her if she were to spontaneously combust, like the spawn of Satan that she is, but I do pity her ginormous ass a little.

PS: I overpaid her too, but she spun it so the county was looking for more dough from me when the younger one turned 18. She almost boned my daughter out of her first semester of college. I could come up with $12K on short notice to keep the county off my ass, but not $24K so I could do that, and pay her tuition. When I went down to the family court center, the gal who helped me said I ought to go after the ex for half the tuition for the kids, a substantial sum. I chose to let it go, and not have to deal with her any longer.

I didn't see anything that would get him in trouble. Basically he said he wants to be left alone because he doesn't like the new hubby. If he wanted custody, that would be different.
