Knott's Berry Farm amusement park tickets
Knott's sends out residents free tickets to the neighbors a few times a year to compensate for the the park's overflow parking in our hood and the noise frm them screaming on the rides and the fireworks. I usually give them to my kids. No takers this time and I hate parks.
So, anyone interested can have them for a nominal price or Porsche parts in trade. I think single day admission is $70+ per person. PM me if you want go visit beautiful downtown Buena Parks main attraction.

You live in an amusement park? I loved the place as a kid. I wish it wasn't so far away, or I would go just for the chicken dinner and pie.

I can get four into Disneyland for free for life about 300 days/year, and I don't go.

I took the grandkids to DL last Christmas, I swear at "Its a Small World" there were 1,000 baby carriages. I'm not kidding.

I'm old enough to remember when there was NO charge to go to Knott's and they had boysenberry's growing where thrill rides are now. And Disneyland was surrounded by orange groves!

I remember these.
![]() We always ended up with some "A" tickets left, hadta burn em before we left. IIRC they were worth 10 cents each. Main Street Horse Cars Horseless Carriage Omnibus Sleeping Beauty Castle Fire Engine King Arthur Carousel Rumor has it that Dismalland will still redeem those old tickets for face value, which ain't much nowadays. A 15 ride ticket book cost 6 bux. |

when i was a college student.
i smoked a joint while cruising through the Matterhorn. Cali sinsemilla. it sure packed a punch, compared to the Mexican ditch weed that we used to buy in Canuckistan. |

I think that is still there? Joe Bob, PM me next time you get tickets... my wife's daughter was visiting and she took us... on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of summer! We got on... three... rides. I would love to go back mid week off peak season (lots of memories)... lets just say there were no roller coasters or camp snoopy when I went as a kid.

Wow, man. The last time I was at Disneyland they were still using those ticket books.
You mean they have changed? That's awful. |

Hence the saying.. "That's an E-Ticket ride".. (in relationship to taking a thrill ride in a fast car/roller coaster/motorbike/airplane, etc.) as that level was all the "cool/fast" rides in the park.
Of course when you say that to anyone younger than 40 today, they just stare at you... They changed over to general admission in 1982.. |
