Question concerning Outlook on my IPhone
I have several emails addresses on my iPhone and the past week it says I have 1 unread for my work email but I can't find any that have been unread. I've gone through every email and even on my work computer. All email files have been open but it still shows a (1) Unread. What is going on here?
(and yes I have powered it down a few times!) |
I use Exchange as well. It is synced to my computer and outlook. The only way I could get rid of the phantom email is to delete that account on my iPhone and then put it back. The actual emails are on the email server so I don't loose anything except that phantom email.
If you are using a Exchange email that is all you have to do. It is a pain and another phantom will reappear in a few weeks. If you just ignore it eventually it will change to 2 or more phantom emails. |
Typically something flagged as SPAM that the server is not dealing with correctly.
If you reboot the device and go straight to mail often you'll find basically blank mail with a sent date from 1969. I ignore them. |
