Surffing
I made a pass at BAT this morning. There is a lot of stuff there. Is that site full of cookes & creeps like CL? I just may have found me self a new classified.
|
I frequent it a lot for the amusement factor but I hear from a number of sources that its a great way to buy and sell. I bought my Wagoneer off this site and the transaction was a pleasure. I got a lot of free advice from the forum and could not be happier. Yes there is a peanut gallery who post ancient lore about when they owned an early Wobblemobile and there are also some keyboard experts who just revel in their ability to pick apart a car but there is also a lot of very good advice. The site does not appear to be habited by scammers yet so I think you can buy and sell with confidence. When my S goes on the block it go on a BAT auction as will the Jeep very soon.

I am sorry, you will need to translate that into English for me. I have not idea at all what that sentence means.

...then the never ending emails. Took almost two years of "unsubscribing" to stop them. BAT is OFF my radar. |

...And the answer to the OP's question is...Yes! It its full of cookies and creeps like Craigslist.

A lot of the car auctioned there are originally from Craigslist.
The current BMW CS, etc. For a buyer, BaT is like a fancified craigslist in a lot of ways. Buy the same car, but for 50% more. For a seller, it's a dream come true (see, e.g., the $48,000 BMW 2002). |
