Getting my late friend's car ready for sale.
When my friend passed away in March, he had already arranged with another friend
to sell his hot rod so his wife wouldn't be burdened with that chore. So now that spring is here his car will soon be offered for sale. I will be sad to see it go. Makes you realize how short our time is here. My friend made great use of his time I think, IMO. Also, a few pictures of the '28 Buick my friends are building. I got so much flack before, I almost hate to bring it up, but perhaps some of you may be interested. They had decided to hotrod instead of restore as they wanted to take it cross country when completed next year, and as they are avid hot rodders that's what they're doing. I think it will be OK. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I remember your comments about your friend. May he RIP. Very cool Ford. Any chance of your friends hot rodding the Buick in a way to be able to return it to stock in the future, like some of us do with our 911s?

My condolences.
The car pictured above is very nice. Not overdone.

Very nice car!
Hope the new owner appreciates the time and effort your friend had put into it.

Those wheels fill the arches just right. Your Rod is all set too, I hope.

Dennis, isn't that the old jail in Charlottetown?
It was a beautiful day for a drive. Best Les

I'm not sure that you can go anywhere in Houston any day, any daylight hour and take a pic like that without people or other cars ending up in the pic.

That back window needs a violin case...

Well, that makes sense because we have lots of fiddles up here, but no gats.
