my wife helped fix the Porsche today
Well not really fixed but helped with an upgrade of sorts. When I purchased my Boxster S it came with one key. That has not been a problem as I am the only driver. But I wanted a spare just in case. As most of you know modern Porsche electronic key heads are stupid in price and I was not going to buy a new one as a spare.
Last year I found a used key head on the 986 forum. Guy only wanted 25.00 so I figured what the heck let's give it a try. So this key head has been sitting on my nightstand for about a year . Today the wife say's she needs something to do, after rejecting sex I suggested she solder new switches onto the spare key head board. I had previously purchased some new switches also off the 986 forum so had them in the ready as well. My wife worked 30 years in the defense industry and held every solder cert out there she has the magic touch when it comes to solder . About 15 minutes later all three switches had been replaced along with the battery and all work ( light up the LED ) . I have an " in " with someone local that is going to program the key head to my car and then I'll have to get an actual key cut . Overall not a bad day other than the lack-o-sex

Pretty good. Just don't mix up your to-do list and hit up your key programming contact with the lack of sex issue.
