Picasa defunct. What is a good replacement?
 
The Google pictures doesn't cut it. I just need to crop and resize just basic easy stuff. What's out there?

I've been using photobucket for a few years, works fine. Worth paying the few bucks per year to get the ad-free version.

On a desktop or laptop just use The GIMP - both Free and free, cross platform, can be used for simple cropping/resizing or all the way up to photoshop like editing.

Photobucket seems to work. The website is painfully slow though. The app works much better.

Ironically, viewing pictures on flickr is a better experience when I don't log in, versus when I do.

A huge chunk of Yahoo including Flickr got sold to Verizon a few weeks ago. What will happen to Flickr remains to be seen.
