Anyone have/use/try one of those wireless HDMI setups?

Installing an LED TV on my back patio. Area is wired for power and Coax but I don't want to pay for another cable box to go out there. I stumbled upon these wireless HDMI setups, wondering how well they work. Would be transmitting from my cable box in the living room about 30 feet to my back patio. Anyone have/try one?

Here's one: https://www.amazon.com/Actiontec-Wireless-WiFi-Multi-Room-Video/dp/B00LSS10PM

We use that for karaoke at the bar. I've not personally used it and I know that the KJ did gave a connection issue a couple of times, but he goes to a few bars and takes the setup with him, so that may be why things were screwed up.

Other than that, it seems to work well.

I setup a home theater for someone several years ago and had to use a wireless HDMI setup to the projector since there was no way to get into the ceiling.

Used a setup from DVDO that worked quite well. Even would transmit 3D just fine. Little slow to sync, but very stable. It was an early version of their "air" product line that was only good for in room connections. Looking at their site today it looks like they are only still good for in room transmissions, up to 30 feet.

Another option is to go HDMI to Coax. Never used one, but might be worth a shot. If you have to attach two "F" connectors to get to the outside TV, make sure to use a jumper rated at 3ghz or higher. HDMI to Coax

I have this set up,

Briteview HDelight

Works well, though occasionally loses the signal or handshake requiring a reboot of the Tx and Rx components
