Not sure im believing lochte
 

Couple days ago I saw him interviewed and he claims 'cop' cocked the gun and put it to his head to which he replied 'whatever' and complied.

Aside from the likely bs about being a smartass I'm wondering about the 'cocked the gun' bit. Just didn't ring true to me.

We shall see.

Cocking a gun is "dramatic". We see it on TV all the time. Especially with automatics.

Of course, if you cock an automatic, most likely, it means you have an empty cylinder.

I think ryan may have told a tall tale. this may be tough to walk back if that is the case? this could also escalate quickly and bad things can happen if the three swimmers are detained or arrested. I understand passports have been confiscated.

I wonder if the usoc is contemplating pulling all our athletes out for the remainder of the games?

Guy on fox said he flat out asked Ryan if maybe they were just telling a story to cover some embarrassing behavior.

Given swimmers apparent taste for trannys i'm wondering if it's something like that.

It does seem strange though...why say they were cops? Why not say they were hoods? Cocking a 9mm?

Just heard a report that says video from a gas station security camera shows one of the swimmers breaking down a bathroom door and getting into a fight with the security guard. This was heard on the radio so I did not see any video if, in fact, the report is true. It certainly could explain the apparent inconsistencies in the swimmers' stories.

Radio was talking about this on my way in. Speculation was that Lochte's girlfriend (super incredibly hot) was at the hotel waiting and he and his bro's were out getting wild in Rio. They got in late and instead of a flat tire story he went with the "I got robbed" story. He told this to his mom so she would play wingman for him but instead she tweeted it as fact. The ball started rolling from there.

This could get ugly and complicated really fast.

If the stories about the gas station incident prove true, there will not only be an international incident--Brazilian embarrassment, "Gringo" arrogance--but Lochte will be facing a moral crisis. He is home safe but two of his comrades are still in Brazil facing a possible charge of making a false police report. What will he do if Brazil demands his return, after all, he was the one who got the ball rolling with the robbery story?

A plan concocted in an inebriated state. It's kind of sad this is how they will be remembered.

Stupid frat boy prank turns international incident.

What could have probably have been resolved on the spot with a bit of humility and compensation for damages done.
Turns into an incident that exposes bigger issues with the participants Character, and end up having long term consequences in folks lives.
