Can you ID the maker?
 

Of these pistol stocks/grips. On the upper Woodsman, a set of custom target stocks with no markings inside or out. The quality is right up there with Roper and Sanderson but this set is neither of those. The bottom Colt is a Woodsman Sport with standard stocks for comparison. Both are pre war 1st Models.

Taken 'em off to look at the inside?

Actually, I bought these grips/stocks and put them on the gun. No marks of any kind on the inside. The only clue is that the inside mounting surfaces appear to have been professionally done on a duplicating machine.
