Nice looking car, I even like the color and I could probably grow to like the wheels, if a set of factory alloys couldn't be found. I know I'm in the minority but I prefer the big bumpers and big lights to the round lights, so that is a 2002 FTW!

Good luck, Paul!

That would be a bit of an understatement. You may be the only one.

If that's the case, maybe I should offer the seller 5000 bucks to take that ugly mongrel off his hands....(I'd expect a fresh oil change and a full tank of gas, though!)

Paul would most likely spend a few Bux more for this 1972 2002:

I was...it was pretty discouraging since there was a lot rusty clutter being pedaled as 2002 art work. That and has Onewhippedpuppy titled a thread, They Say Don't Drive your Hero's, my memories of 2002 ownership in the 1970's was a lot more interesting than actually driving a 2002 again.

If I do get another 2002 it will be one with significant drive train mods.

I decided to buy a 1998 560SL from a member here two years ago and have really enjoyed the experience, so much so that unless the car is really special I am going to stick to open air driving, Targa or convertible.

I really appreciate the tip, though, thanks!!!

I thought I was a weird collector, that guy has a limited purview. The video guy walked right past one of the best cars in the yard, the Alfa 164.

Don't ask me what I'm doing looking at BAT... slow day here I guess... no funds for another car but I can dream.

Started out looking at this:
2002 Caterham Super Seven | Bring a Trailer

Then saw this (yes, I know an acquired taste, but I like the oddball models):
1989 Ferrari Mondial T Coupe | Bring a Trailer
