Recommend me a 2 post lift

I am looking for a two post top bar lift for a morton shed.

I would be working on some larger trucks also so it would need to be able to push up a lifted f250.

I would like to lift around 9 - 10k with out spending over $2500 is that doable? any recommendations? symmetrical or non symmetrical?

Thanks for the help!

Try your local Craigslist. Sometimes there are great deals.

Check for dealerships upgrading their shops.

My brothers Toyota dealership built a new facility a while back.

They basically tossed 20 or so lifts in perfect working order.

He was going to ship me one but it cost as much as buying a new one so....

I have been searching craigslist for the past few months with no real luck. One of the downsides to the midwest. The few that pop up are in rough shape.

That a good idea for checking with dealers and shops but i am worried about time line. I currently have approval from the wife and I am afraid if I wait a few more months I might end up with a new dinning room set or something

The price can be flexible i just dont want to take any chances with 9000# hanging over you.

A good friend of mine just installed one of these a few months ago. He is very happy with it.

Mohawk is great but not for 2.5k unless you find used.

Several options here that can pick symmetric or asymmetrically. Shop and Compare the Atlas Overhead 2 Post Lift | GSES

I have a bendpak that can do both and I like that is gives flexibility.

I helped a buddy install his 10k pound Atlas lift years ago and shopping for my own. Haven't had a problem with it and install was easy. You'll easily find one for under $2500.
His will lift a smart car up to a 1 ton dually.

I wouldn't buy a used lift.
They usually command a high price and have been worn out.

I've been happy with 'Eagle Equipment' lifts, I have 2 & 4 post lifts from them, about 20 years.

A friend of mine purchased a used lift from a detailing shop that went under a few years ago. Bendpak with about 10000 lb capacity. Has no problem lifting 3/4 ton and one ton diesel pickups.

I second Greg smith and Atlas lifts. I have the 10000 lb unit from them, bottom bar not top bar, have had it for 3 years no issues at all, lifts anything I put on it including a buddies 3500 diesel.

Buy a good used Rotary 10k. A used Rotary is safer then a new chinese piece of crap.
Since you're going to be under 8k lb trucks you should put safety first
Mohawk is also good quality

There is a "group buy" purchase thread over on Garage Journal. You might want to check it out and get a quote.
