Actually now days everyone wins and gets a trophy.

You win the you get the exact same prize as the person that loses the argument. And since no one ever loses, and no one wins it is a just a big waste of electrons. Like the rest of PPOT. it is just entertainment.

Its the internet, I just assume everyone is smarter, richer and better looking than I am, and always wants to tell me that.

It was worse in the early days of the internet. I used do Q & A on some of the options boards. All of the monday morning quarterbacks were a joke.

Clearly this thread is a big competition to see who can bemoan others the best and obtain the moral high-ground; which is covered with a beautiful lawn that you damn kids need to get off of now.

I don't think anyone considered his using "azz" to avoid the profanity checker was the "irony" or "self-denial "resulting in such derision. Taking the cheap shot against folks they apparently felt they lost a prior, unrelated argument to in a thread designed to mock those who cannot "lose" an argument in PPOT was the irony.

Quoting his trademarked word "azz" simply developed the character involved a bit more by using his actual words (and of course, as you pointed out...shows his clear intent to break forum rules...just to take that shot).

You are right. You win. I was/am wrong! I always assumed that it was filtered since so many asses use the term "azz". Maybe they just can't spell.

Nope...I bought some "Big Azz Channel Lock" pliers years ago...stamped right on 'em and I laughed my azz off when I saw it. Been speeling it like that ever since :)

If they were not so painfully petty and obnoxious, you would feel sorry for them as they seem drawn to the discussion like moths to a flame...hoping to redeem themselves with some new personal attack against the perceived source of their self-loathing, only to make a fool out of themselves once again.
You know you've won when same the fool returns and claims victory and that they are "schooling you" because you laughed about their spelling...when their spelling was not really what you were laughing at, it was just an additional irony.

You know you have won when your opponent chooses to restate your words into something they can better argue (pretending they are quoting you). Why not just use the quote function and argue what you actually posted? If you choose to add words to the other's position, you are likely a fool or charlatan.
