Hot Rod tour

Went on a bit of a tour on the weekend, a dozen or so couples, as one of our guys
is having a health issue. In fact, I posted some shots of his copper colored 37 Ford coupe here last year.

So as a group we decided to take advantage of this good weather and make a day of it just in case we may not get a chance later.

We visited a car collectors museum, , model cars mostly, lots and lots of automotive memorabilia. Than a BBQ later., good fun hope he does OK, he's a terrific guy on far right.

Everything I love! Hope your friend does ok. He's gotta be a cool guy if he's into all this.

All on P.E.I., so we went up the north shore (Gulf of St Lawrence) then returned on the strait side Northumberland strait, back to my friends house.

Some very nice roads, towns with great names such as Miscouche, Belmont, Lot 16,
Cascumpec, Malpeque, Foxley River, Portage, O"leary, Woodstock, St. Chrysostrome,
Summerside, (home) and Borden-Carleton (Bridge to NB)

Ended the day at my friends BBQ after a great day. Here's a pic of him and his wife standing by a giant potato in the Town of O'Leary

The guys got a heart of gold. Say's he's towing this little trailer with his '37 to Victoria B.C. and back next July (gulp). Close to 10,000 miles, I hope he does!! He's says his friends (nobody I know) only travel about 250-300 miles a day so he says it's easy to side track and catch up to them latter.

Thanks guys, enjoyed showing these pics, and thanks for looking. We had a blast!
Hope it all turns out well.

I'm a bit map challenged. All those towns etc., are they in the Washington, Oregon area? Cool trip and that small trailor sure has me thinking. Thanks

PEI is Canada east coast. Sure looks beautiful. Maybe on one of my walkabouts I'll head there.
