Any time you can get a very rare and unusual firearm it is great. I have a CVA Hawken that was made in 1971 as part of a pair to test what the company would sell and what components would be. Mine has number 000002 on the barrel the company founder has 000001 on his. They were made by a gunsmith named Doug Knoell as he was friends with the founder.

Pricing info.............

You might try posting this on the Coltforum.com site. There are many very knowledgeable collectors there that should be able to help.

Not my conundrum... Be a nice one to have. The guy who has it is in Europe and has a VERY nice spoon collection with all sorts of neat things that we USians can't get...

All of my spoons are shooters, at least when I can afford to feed them (seen the price of 44 mag lately? more expensive than 308!).
