FSRMountain, That was really low! Lay off the personal comments on the forum from your soapbox.
I think what Dave is doing is great for himself and his kids!
What the f**k would be doing if you were fatally ill?

Often times the prices on the items found on ebay are exceeding the prices one would pay through a vendor or specialty shop that sells these things.
With proper investigation and time into looking for a certain part you should be able to get what you are looking for the right price.
IMHO the bigget draw to ebay is convenience not the great deals

FSRmountain- **** YOU!!!
I turn 28 in a few days, and hope to God I make it to 30! I don't choose SS, luckily I receive it. I've paid my share of taxes, My income as a high rise carpenter put me into the well off bracket, 70K in 2000, w/ no kids, wife, or debt. And I only worked until August, due to my weakening body. My SS only pays a 1000 a month. I live at my dads house for christ sake.
This forum gives us opportunity to rant, but moron? Nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long time. Dickhead.

Craig, I did ask said seller, but I guess I put my foot in my mouth by posting this topic. I have no proof, but found it a little weird...... F'it. My arms are tired from typing.

Wayne, Dave, someone remove this thread!!

PS to the seller: Remember the title "Possible shill bidding...."

Sorry Koijo, your looking for sympathy and your not going to get it here. My Dad passed away from LGD. I dont know what your exactly going through but I know what your family is going through.
What you do with your money is up to you and what you do with your life is up to you. But don't be complaing about money when your plopping down that kind of cash on other items. And then play the sympathy card.
Me if I was in the situation I would be setting up a trust fund or use edvest and put that money were it could really help out. Think of there future. Again my opinion but I went through it twenty years ago and was very grateful for what my dad did. Didn't even know it was done for me. Made me think of pop all over again. Your money your life and time do what you want. Just don't play the sympathy card.

sammyg2 01-04-2003 12:42 PM

Mountain, I hope you don't need much help from this board in the future, I doubt you will get it.

korijo 01-04-2003 02:21 PM

Thanks for all the support fellas. I aint playin no sympathy $hit.

FSR, I would like roll over your a$$ in my new wheelchair. My "trust fund" IS these cars. When it comes down to it, if its a deal, money is no object when its my kids who are involved. Trying to find a pair of Konig seats like the ones I bid on, for 500 is impossible. My bid didnt even reveal the reserve?! Ever since you got your $hit sniffer in my business, you seemed to have gotten on the wrong side of some pretty cool guys. Hope it was worth it. BTW my pregnant wife is now pissed at you, too.

DICKHEAD- you got one thing right. You'll never know how me, or your own dad, felt. Does it bother you that I have more in common w/ your dad, than you did?

FSRMountain 01-04-2003 02:26 PM

Missing the point here.

Don't complain about being on SS. And be bidding on high dollar items or getting bid up $90. Its your choice how much you spend. Or did you just want everything at a discount.

I help Korijo with his 914 project on a fairly regular basis. I see what he has to go through just to move around and do things that a healthy person never thinks twice about. K- keep your head up, your positive attitiude makes me think twice about things in life I take for granted.

korijo 01-04-2003 02:34 PM

YOU obviously dont get it. I was trying to..... Fu_ck it. I am just gonna resort to name calling.

DICKHEAD

Zeke 01-04-2003 03:02 PM

Mountian, I don't think he played the sympathy card, certainly not at the beginning of this thread. Someone is totally tasteless and out of line here. If the mountain boot fits, you know who it is.

Dave Darling, in the best interest of the BBS, kindly move, or better yet, delete this thread. It will serve no purpose any longer regarding auctions and it never was very 914 oriented.

korijo 01-04-2003 03:07 PM

Please, Dave. I agree w/ Zeke.

PLEASE DELETE THIS THREAD.

derek_sf 01-04-2003 07:04 PM

first off, bidding on your own auction on ebay is against their rules, report the person.

secondly, hopefully korijo is around this board longer than FSRmountain, what an idiot.

If workin on the car helps you for one minute to deal with what your goin through then more power to you. If it something you can accomplish before your gone, more power to you. If it something you can do with your children then God bless you.

Boys....This thread just goes to show that it takes all kinds of folk to make the world go round.
