And I wasn't kidding about the self-defense aspect. You could really temporarily blind someone if you were walking in the dark and shined it into someone's eyes. It would give you the jump to run, seek cover, etc. Maybe not as good as a gun or an aluminum baseball bat but one hell of a lot better than nothing. :)

Here's a review of my Tenix TK60...he has a 2nd follow up video showing light output of several lights on a dark night. I live in a semi rural area, so the TK 60 is quite handy when I really want to look around. My old 4 cell mag light is a candle by comparison.. Still, the little 9 volt "pak lite" is the one I grab most often.

I use a 5.11 tactical penlight. Small, 90 lumens, does what I need and got it for free from a show....
