Recommendation for hotel in austin tx?
will be there one night thursday this week, for the CTSC IMSA. do not know the downtown so would like to check it out small hotel, near the music scene maybe? small, boutique?

The locals (I am one) say the live music scene is pretty much dead now. I would stay at the W, but that's because I don't want to have anything to do with 6th street. It really is a mess these days.
