I was thinking maybe a Patriot style leaf defense shield....blast them suckers before they have a chance to invade...it might work...lemme brainstorm a bit :)

LOL @fastfred

It isn't that hard to rake some leaves. Should have moved to a condo if it upsets you. The fence will just make clean up harder as you are now having to clean against it. Also, not sure how long the property line is, but I'd spend my money on a nice rake and not worry about buying 100 feet of chicken wire and having to store it after fall is over.

Life is too short to go crazy trying to keep your lawn perfect and leaf free.

There is absolutely no problem that cannot be solved by a bit of backyard engineering employed by sharp-witted Pelicans. Especially if alcohol is added to the equation.

See this is the thing, I don't expect it to remain perfect, but I also don't expect it to look as if I'd never cleaned-up a week after I complete my cleaning.

Screw the fence...I parked the buick on the property line, will let it rot into the earth.

End of story

Once again, this is an engineering solution that will not solve the problem. Those fans have to be mounted at grade level to get at all the leaves on the ground. Mounting them that high just isn't going to do it. You gotta keep the final objective in mind whenever you propose a solution.
