Ed Pink engines
It seems that Ed Pink builds the motors for the "reimaged" singers. Has anyone bought a motor from them? Curious as to how much they get for them, specifically the 390hp 4.0.
Hey, I can dream.... |
Interesting. While I didn't know Pink still had anything to do with 911 based engines, I know he built engines for Jim Busby's 962 team back in the 80's. As I recall Busby felt he wouldn't get the same Andial engines as Holbert's factory team, so he had Ed Pink build his motors to try and draw even.

^^^^ That is engine porn for sure.
I wonder just how many mega thousands that engine cost? |

The entry level Singers are "only" $395K USD and a 12-14 month wait......a bargain. The shop is a real boutique in size.
|
Anyone else wonder if Singers' star is beginning to fade a bit? Perhaps familiarity has begun to do its thing on beauty...

How much does the average amateur spend rebuilding their own? |
You can easily spend $20k on a "stock" <= 3.6 race prepped motor, with core!
