2 and 3 are essential. The person needs to know enough about marketing to see an opportunity and hand it off to our sales people. They don't have to execute. We are a small (12 people) shop and no one can specialize completely, everybody has to be on their toes.

Putting aside any reflection on the OP, it is a valid question. Situational ethics only look good when you are doing it and not when you are having it done to you.
Whether it was appropriate in this thread is an entirely different question.

I can do it, but don't want to move to the mainland and I really don't want to wear long pants. I used to walk to class in shorts even though we had snow on the ground. lol What I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.

Some folks are a nightmare even without any skills. Some are blessed enough to be both skilled and be a PIA.
