The fact that I came across this at this time is coincidental.

Personally I thought it was an extremely well executed example of social messaging as performance art and incorrectly assumed others could (note I did not say would) appreciate it for what is was.

I need to set my expectations lower I guess.

I appreciated it for being extremely well-executed social messaging as performance art.

It's still propaganda. The man say many tine dat all we men are da lines.

This is pure sexist political propaganda. It was a great performance and extremely well-executed social messaging, too. And a total lie.

Because you assumed others would appreciate it for what you think it is and they don't is not a result of your expectations being too high. Your expectations are too low which is exactly the goal of the performance: to keep them there.

either to yourself

or to us.

I don't particularly think enough of you to even bother lying to you so no, not lying.

So you are lying to yourself.

Is that better or worse than holding us in such disdain that you don't think we are even worth lying to?

Oh, and saying it is worth one's time makes it more of a "would" rather than a "could" appreciate it situation.

Note that i specifically said could, and clarified that I was not saying would.

Mostly because so many here have comprehension issue, as you have clearly illustrated.

Watch it again.

Pay particular attention to how he never says all men.

Or better yet.

Tell me how he's wrong.

Do you think it's ****ing martians landing in the middle of the night and raping woman?

It's predominantly a man that does that.

Would you have received it better if he named them all so heaven forbid your fragile sense of worth was not offended that he might be talking about you.

It would have been more than a 5 minute piece.

It's worth it because it's an important topic.

I have a daughter.

I also have first hand exposure to some of the things he is talking about.

So yeah, I have a heightened sensitivity to it.

I get pretty worked up over it.

Not something anyone should have, ever.

If you ever hear that I ended up in jai the smart money bet will be because it had to do with some piece of **** man who could not control himself.

And I'll go willingly and sleep just fine.
