Assume the 12th Amendment is repealed

Or was never passed.

The choice is between these 4 candidates:

1. Hillary Rodham - New York
2. Donald Trump - New York
3. Gary Johnson - New Mexico
4. Jill Stein - Massachusetts

Rule: You get two votes. You have to vote for candidates from different states.

red-beard 10-18-2016 04:39 PM

This is not a thread to discuss the candidates pluses or minuses. Simply to vote.

ledhedsymbols 10-18-2016 05:07 PM

Only voted for one... I'd consider the Constitution Partype candidate before the others.

This thread is bull$H!T. I want to see the poll results, but refuse to post a poll result for any of these losers. What has this country come too.

Got it. Just clicked the link. Nevertheless, what kind of choices are those. In four years we'll have Paul Ryan. He'll get my vote.

Hey, I voted for Reagan.....why isn't that showing up? :)

You are an Elector, you have to vote for two! SmileWavy

Imagine how different the political arena would be if we repealed that amendment. Imaging how much...more free we would all be.

I would LOVE to repeal it. Get back to votes counting, get back to powerful vice presidents, and get back to the two highest elected positions in the land arguing against each other before they can even give a bill to the legislative branch.

MBAtarga 10-19-2016 06:13 AM

This poll is rigged!

wdfifteen 10-19-2016 06:25 AM

That's an interesting question. It seems having a president and vice president from different parties would make life a little scary for the president. The constitutional system was a strange concept. The 12th only partially fixed the problem. We need to get rid of the electoral college and have direct elections.

The danger to the Constitution is much greater when any attempt is made to change it.
The calling of a Constitutional convention in this day & age is frightening.

red-beard 10-19-2016 12:50 PM

Multiple people cannot follow simple directions

You must vote twice, and they cannot be for Candidates from the same state

How can the Vice President stop a bill from passing in Congress? What are his primary and secondary roles?

It actually is turning how I thought it would.
