I have decided that in the event that we go to war with Russia, my Wife and I will take my Carrera down to Coronado beach in San Diego, park down at the end of Orange ave with a view of the ocean and Point Loma and eat snacks and drink beer and watch the incoming MIRV's.

Why not? I'll just go outside with a lawn chair and some beer. Fck it. We're gonna get screwed why worry about it.

I had several dreams recently- one of being in an active nuclear war zone, houses around me on radioactive fire, F14 falling out of the sky right in front of me......

Another one with a warplane falling out of the sky and crashing in front of me, no nuke just a crash...

I think it'll be more of a sight to see. One rocket splitting off into several different ones. Pac 2's targeting the dummy war heads. It'll sure be a show.

Now this is bat shyte crazy talk. It is reflective of ants running around frantically on a hot tin plate. As has been this whole political season. The ants have lost their minds from the heat being applied by the stresses in the economy.

Yeah well most of the ants have no idea how little they are aware of their reality, so not much running around going on - unless directed.

Well, there was a dozen russian warships crossing the british channel and headed to the Gibraltar straight for Syria. Then there is Hillary talking about that no fly zone in Syria...Looks like the proxy war will turn into a direct war very soon.

If it happens I hope we decide to fight with both hands.

This reminds me of when I was a kid around 1950. My best friend & I would plan for what we would do when the Russians came. We lived in a little town between California's San Joaquin Valley and the Mojave Desert in a valley surrounded with mountains. We would hike up into the mountains on weekends and back down to home. We established a place up there we stocked with supplies & planned to use it as our survival hold up. Right now we live far enough east of S.D. we might not be obliterated by a blast. If that happens, survival won't be easy.

Traffic on the bridge could be an issue. I think I'll take my S.O. and a bottle of single malt to Fort Rosecrans on Point Loma. It's very peaceful and plus my Dad and Grandparents are buried there.

I live 5 minutes from a place which is 100% guaranteed to be high on Russia's target list. If WWIII ends up being nuclear, I'll be vaporized before we get the news that it's begun. (shrug) Can't really do anything to prepare for a direct nuclear strike, so there's no sense in losing sleep over it.

They dont have to be aware..part of it is that are unaware and dont even realize they are frantic. If aware they dont scurry around like ants.

It'd probably best to be vaporized. Survival afterwards will suck horribly and if there is a nuclear exchange, mutations, stillbirths and birth defects will be very high - the prospect of survival of the human species will be greatly reduced.

When one considers what an absolute imbecile Donald Trump is and what an incompetent, un-respected fool Hillary Clinton is it should be a lot clearer to people that we deserve, need and should demand a lot better.

Unfortunately it's too late for 2016. Maybe 2020 (but unlikely), so perhaps 2024. If we even survive as a nation that long.

I think we have a very real chance of a full-blown shooting war with Russia, Iran and / or North Korea in the next 4-8 years as well as possibly seeing the United States fracture into two or more separate countries. We're hopelessly divided and neither Trump nor Clinton will do anything except make those divisions greater, more contentious and more hostile.
