Need Rec For Headphones

Need rec for make/model of over the ear corded headphones with 3.5 mm jack. Main goal is to block out noise from other people. Don't care about "great" audio quality, "good" is good enough. Will be listening to jazz probably. Needs to be comfortable enough to wear for hours. Don't care about noise cancellation like for airplanes. Want low-ish price, I'm going to buy multiple sets and some will probably get lost/stolen.

I have these. They are on par with the more expensive headphones, great sound and comfortable to wear for long periods.

If your main goal is to "block out noise from other people" you might consider going with in-ear headphones as opposed to over-the-ear.
IMO, in-ears with compression foam (Comply) tips offer the best noise isolation. Plus, they are much easier to pack/travel with if that is a concern.

Etymotic Research | mk5 Isolator Earphones

If you really want to block noise I recommend something by Etymotic, they are the originators and leaders in noise isolation earphones IMHO

They are 100% as effective as similar OSHA rated earplugs

I have had these for years, and still love them!

Edit: oops, just saw the bit in your post about noise cancelling. These are not, but they do muffle external sounds pretty well.
