Repeating myself

Well I made some progress. I jumped the terminals at the furnace and she fired up. However, the last two burners don't lite and one of those has the flame sensor on it. The unit shuts down in a few seconds. Maybe dirty combustion chambers? If so, how do I clean them? Thinking of a nest thermostat as a replacement.....thoughts?

Got a good CO detector? Id be worried about something going wrong with a home repair on a furnace.

I have a carbon monoxide detector in the room....I devised a small tube to get access to the two burners. Blew some compressed air into them and retested. It's all working and stayed on for the three to four minutes that I could hold the button in. Thanks all for the expert advice...what a place!!!!

Not a big Nest fan.
I do like White Roger/Emerson Big Blue T'stat.
I could have done a communicating T'stat when I installed the new York furnace last year to replace the 16 year old Trane. I just stuck with the big blue. I like how it controls and ease of use.

I DIY just about everything but for the furnace I call a pro. Just me
