iPhone has been acting really strange - I'm not the only one...
My iPhone 6 has been acting strange lately. For the past few months the phone will just turn off all by it self and not re-start for up to a half hour. The battery doesn't get below 20%. My emails will open, then erase without commands. Not all the time but its happened about 6 times so far. The phone will automatically switch to mute sometimes when I have it on Bluetooth linked to a car. Some cars (rentals) won't allow me to link.
Several people I know have also experienced strange issues with their iPhones as well. I guess its better than being able to start a camp fire with it... Anyone else experiencing iPhone anomalies? |
I received a refurbished 6 plus earlier this year (carrier insurance replacement), and it did all the above. It would not want to turn on one day, and finally my carrier would let me trade it for a 6S plus at no cost to me.

Just the other day my g/f rec'd no new emails on her iPhone and two businesses said that they left messages but she never got them.
Apple gurus said her phone & settings all looked good and she called Verizon too. I suggested that she turn it off then on and that fixed it. Note: I'm a techno doofus. |
No anomalies here. 6.

My 6 will occasionally go "screen dead" and not respond to a swipe.

Based on our same experience with the 6, and after taking it to the Apple store, it's a hardware issue. Finally got a working replacement thru squaretrade. Weird stuff for sure.

It's either Bush's fault - or the Russians have hacked it :)
|
It is the ghost of Steve Jobs!
|
Any chance it's been hacked or hijacked??
|
No doubt the Russians are responsible! :D
Seriously though, a friend and his wife started having issues after the last update. |
4s had funny stuff happening. New 7 and it is all fine. Putin did it.
