Premonitions or self-fulfilled prophecy

For the last 2-3 weeks while driving around I've had in-the-moment visions of a car accident, that is imagining the noise, shock and feel of being in an accident with that car over there. Have had at least 10 of these and each was real in the moment.

Just got into a minor accident, entirely my fault. Was in a grid where my streets have stop signs at each intersection. Perpendicular streets are through-ways, no stop signs. I knew this. Was stopped. Looked right, then left, didn't see anything, started through and with a bang I hit the guy's right rear quarter. Never saw him. Small accident, his Camry held up well, I need a new front bumper on my E320.

Officer came, wrote it up, we were on our way.

The accident was very similar to the kinds of visions I've been having. It was pretty much a replay of what I've been experiencing.

Odd.

Self-fulfilled prophecy. Things are going "too right".

I had a bit of a disagreement with a store manager (who has since been terminated because of complaints about him by customers and employees) and upon leaving I said to several employees loudly, "Your store manager doesn't want me talking to you." The next day I told a lunch date that I set the stage for something bad happening in that store and I explained it to her why it was so. I didn't go back to that store for 6 weeks, every time I went by it I thought something bad is going to happen in that store and was afraid for one person in particular. After 6 weeks I went back to clear the air and 4 days later a murder happened just outside the front door with the victim staggering in and telling the person I was afraid for to call 911 as he bled out.

I've had that exact same car crash feeling/premonition several times over the years. Sometimes it lasts for a few days.

It's made me super cautious afterwards, I've even done things such as not ride my motorcycle into work for a few days because of it.

Fortunately mine have never resulted in an an actual accident.

I've had other really random and very minor/meaningless premonitions that have come true. It will be something like I'll dream/imagine that I'm going into the garage to leave, but I forgot something in the house, so I go back in and while I'm on my way out again the phone rings and it's a certain person.

Several months later, that exact things will happen, down to the smallest details

This doesn't happen very often (in fact, very rarely).

As humans, we think we know everything (or at least, a lot), but IMO there's a huge amount of things we don't know about the universe, our existence, etc. And many of the things we think we know or understand are probably wrong.

When the phone rang, my dad could predict with about 50/50 accuracy who was calling.

But then again, he only knew two people.

Pffft....when my phone doesn't ring, I can predict with 100% accuracy who it is...

Umm, I did have rather a strange one.

Many years ago I went to a town in Scotland called castle Douglas (maybe I'm Satan returning home) to look at my ancestors old castle. The whole ferking town gave me the creeps, anyway the GF and I went to check into a B&B. I looked at the room and decided not to stay. When we got outside and around the corner I was jokingly chasing my GF pretending to be an axe murderer and she was laughing and mock screaming. The next morning at a nice B&B the lady said we couldn't go to the castle after all as her husband who looked after the castle and had the keys, was also the village policeman and had to deal with a murder last night. I said "OMG was it an axe murder at another B&B?" She was a more than a bit surprised and said yes the guy's wife axe murdered him that night. My fault I guess.

You should change your name to Carl because you've either attained total consciousness or experienced synchronicity.

''Lucy Honey, I'm HOME !''

I had a dream that I ran into the back of a tanker truck on the way to work one day. So I never followed a tanker truck again, and got another job as soon as I was able. When I feel like maybe something bad is going to happen, I often state a different type of result as being what I really want, and ask for help and guidance. I'm not going to say who I ask for help and guidance, but let's just say I put it out there.

Honor your gut, and state the result that you want, instead of focusing on the result that you don't. This is an interactive universe. GIGO applies, so put in a vision of what you would see happen instead, and your whole being will act accordingly.

Who is to say that the two are mutually exclusive? Or even different?
