Steering Wheel Buttons
The factory replacement includes the airbag and is $1100. There is a guy in Dallas that will repaint the buttons an clear coat them for $275. Have seen a few at salvage yards of just the buttons, but they don't look any better. Also my S was great (and still is), more than enough power for an SUV at 340hp. The only reason I replaced it with a Turbo was to get both Bi-xenons and Air suspension. Had nothing to do with the extra 110hp. 3 years ago when I got the S an similar condition Turbo cost $5K to $8K more than an S. |
Stickynomore is a great resource for refinishing of sticky buttons, I've used them multiple times.

I've had several of them ( and make money working on them)
I love mine. Can't even imagine what I'd replace it with Expensive, drinks gas,etc. etc. But will pass anything anytime anywhere tow a trailer, Carry a bunch of crap, etc.,etc Great trucks That 06 is a good deal |
