Quiets are all I have tried. They are r e a l l y slow.

I could have, and should have, specified some subsonic rounds won't cycle properly.

With a supressor on my P22, standard ammo doesn't seem to reach full speed before it leaves the barrel... there is no sonic crack. My cousin's 10/22 and MarkIII pistol seem to require the subsonic ammo, though. I guess the extra 1.5" of barrel length in the Mark III make the difference.

My 10/22 is stock a stove. Works for me. CCI ammo is a good diet.

What's the difference between CCI 'Mini-mag' and 'AR tactical'?
Got a Ruger 10/22 semi takedown and wondering about cycling differences.

10/22 is a slam-dunk appliance. I also shoot a tube feed Marlin but my favorite 22 plinker is the Browning. It feels great, shoots straight, and it ejects downward which I like.

funny, the changes between teh 2 and 3 were to make them cali and other state compliant - loaded chamber indicator, mag safety.

Of course, each model (down to finish!) has to be $ubmitted for $afety te$ting along with a few grand in fee$. Every year. Of course, if you are a cop you can order anything you want for personal use....

If you go to Buds online there is a filter for Cali legal. And they have good prices, even if you do have to pay the silly DROS and FFL fees. Confirm with your local dealer before ordering, some won't do business with places like Buds... too cheap to compete against. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/2084_1153/Firearms/California+Compliant

You can make Quiets run by either using a bolt lock and treating it as a manual action, or use the bolt and recoil spring from the Volquartsen 22 Short conversion kit. Or maybe a KIDD guide rod (or super polish your factory one) and the lightest spring KIDD sends with it (they send 3).

Out of a bolt gun with a 26" barrel they are suppressor level quiet.
