Found a couple of bucks at the hardware stire...
 

I love this store, old school, with everthing under the sun. Purchased one of my favorite Colts there decades ago...they don't have spoons anymore however. Needed a new mattock, so I pulled in to a packed parking lot mid-day yesterday, got out of my truck and I saw the two bucks just laying there...field dressed & gutted on another truck's rear bunper. They weren't huge bucks, but somebody has a fresh supply of venison in the freezer this morning. Waiting for POP to rant about how wrong that is...:(

Made me hungry, so I went down the street for some nationally reknowned BBQ, and I'll be eatin' some Turkey later....I AM a horrible person....but I don't care :)

A few years ago, a friend of mine stopped at the house after a successful start to the hunting season.
He had two white tails and a mule deer in the back of his pickup, gutted and legs sticking up out of the box.
After a couple of beers, I looked out the window at the crowd of kids and moms hanging around the truck. Moms were looking none too happy!
It was a pretty funny scene to see...

I sold one of my meat grinders to a guy last night. He didn't haggle over the price - he needed it right now. He had a deer in the back of his truck.

Deer meat is awesome! The heart and liver are favs as well.

We've got a burger joint here in town that serves all kind of meat on a bun. Venison burger is a fav of mine.

Corn fed white tail, don't knock it till you try it....
