granddad today
 

Son just called says his lovely wife and him are on the way to the hospital my first grandchild is on the way 😊🎉

Congrats to you all. It has not happened to us yet but am sure it is life changing.:)

Congrats. I've been a granddad for about 6.5 months. It's funny, I don't feel like a granddad at 46. The little thing is pretty darned adorable though. We're pretty lucky. Our daughter works about 2 miles from where we live, so she drives in to work with him every day and grandma watches him during the day. I get to see him anywhere from 1-3 hours a day depending upon how our schedules overlap. The kids are my stepkids, so I never experienced the baby thing. This is a whole new experience for me.

Can't wait for grandchildren myself. At 51 we started late, and still have one in high school, and my 23 year old daughter is seeing someone for awhile now, so there is hope for the future.

YAY! Oh man there are some great days ahead for you. I just luv watching my kids play with their kids. And NO sending them home is NOT the best part.

Baby girl born this morning 7lbs 14oz. Mom and baby doing well🎉

Congrats. You now have a lot of responsibility. Better start planning on spoiling her rotten, learning all the new cutesy things that little girls like, and teach her how to boo and hiss at the Montreal Canadians.

Congrats! You're going to love being a grandpa....and don't underestimate the importance of the grandparent on the childs development. Invest in grandpa time.

Whoot! Congrats! I became one mid October. So exciting and great new chapter of life.

It made me feel very old but I'm glad Fraser Sharman arrived 2.5 years ago. and Christmas this year will be very special in Cork when the " yank" arrives here on 23rd Dec.
