Having a Bank Autopay a Person...?

Can a person have their bank autopay another person?
Specifically, a no interest loan to my g/f whose name is on one of my bank checking accounts...can her bank make monthly auto payments to that account given that her name is on it?
Thanks for any info, gents.

I don't know about your bank, but I have almost the exact situation that you describe setup through my credit union except that I am paying them, and their name isn't on my account.

I am able to set up account transfers on a one-time or recurring basis, and those transfers can be between accounts with my name, accounts to other named individuals at the same credit union or accounts for other people at other banks.

Sure.

Just set up an autopay through her online account.

Should take less than 5 minutes.

Not sure about your specific situation but one of my tenants does that for rent each month. I get a check in the mail from his bank.

Yes. When my son was young I paid his allowance automatically from my account to his. Now that he's older and still somewhat supported by dad, I autopay him even tho our accounts aren't linked anymore.

That's what I do, my bank cuts a check and mails it for FREE every month. It's actually cheaper than if I wrote a check and mailed it, since I'm not paying for the check nor the postage!

I can also transfer online to nearly anyone with a US bank account, once or regularly, for free up to something like $2000 a month. Any bank bigger than 100 branches should have that.

Thanks for all of your input, gents.
She banks with USAA...apparently only one bank in San Antonio, TX.
She'll call them on Monday.
